The day included a 'Guess the number of spots on Peter Andre's cake' competition, selling cakes and biscuits and of course dressing up in Children In Need T-shirts and flashing Pudsey ears.


The team and the community raised a total of £55.

Chapelford team support 'Children In Need'


Well done to the team at Chapelford pharmacy who raised money on Friday 18th November as part of Children In Need.

Their charity month started with a coffee morning in the recently renovated pharmacy raising £130 for Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity who supports families across Yorkshire.


After this, a team member at the pharmacy, Gail Atkinson took part in the Alzheimer’s Society annual Memory Walk. Through sponsorship from family, friends and Southowram pharmacy patients £267 was raised.


Ending their charity month, a second coffee morning was held as the pharmacy took part in the Macmillan Cancer Support ‘World Biggest Coffee Morning’ raising £185 from the sale of homemade cakes and deserts.

The team at have been very busy in the last month fundraising for three different charities with their efforts raising over £550 in total.

Well done to the team at Hood Manor who braved the weather and completed a 5km run dressed as the '118 men' in aid of the Movember Foundation.


In total, the team raised an amazing £260 for the charity tackling men's health.

This new acquisition means that the Hub pharmacy now operates 121 pharmacies, all offering a range of innovative and integrated pharmacy services tailored to their local communities.


The two pharmacies are part of W S Young Ltd and will be refitted with new IT in the next three months enabling growth in their service offering.

Chester acquisitions



A new acquisitions sees the Hub pharmacy take ownership of two pharmacies in Chester, Cheshire.

Our intrepid pharmacy team from Rochdale climbed Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and raised £920 in sponsorship money for an important national charity.


Taking a 9 mile route the team made it safely to the top and back in under six hours despite damp weather.


Dementia UK provide specialist one-to-one support and expert advice for people living with dementia in the UK.
