We were pleased to be joined by the Mayor of Rochdale, Ian Duckworth, to officially open Croft Shifa Pharmacy in Croft Shifa Health Centre on Belfield Road, Rochdale.
Croft Shifa Pharmacy, which was acquired by the Hub pharmacy in January, has seen a substantial investment in the premises with a full refit of the pharmacy, upgraded IT systems and improvements to reflect our modern service based approach to community healthcare.
The pharmacy is now able to provide the community of Rochdale with a large range of pharmacy services including free prescription delivery, electronic prescriptions and a travel clinic service, which provides expert advice and vaccinations to anyone travelling overseas, without needing an appointment.
Steve Jeffers, CEO of the Hub pharmacy said, “It was very kind of the Mayor to take time out of his busy schedule to not just officially re-open the pharmacy but also talk to all our team members about their roles in the pharmacy and the great range of services we now offer to our patients”.
Mayor Ian Duckworth said, “The mayoress and I were impressed by the ambience, professionalism and friendliness of Croft Shifa Pharmacy. A very welcoming and friendly environment – it is now an essential part of the local community”.
