Our Accredited Checking Technicians supervises, monitors and checks for accuracy the work of Pharmacy Technicians, Dispensers and Dispensing Assistants. They work in accordance with our standard operating procedures, maintaining the highest professional standards at all times. They are expected to further their skills through continuing professional development (CPD) and support the day to day operation of the pharmacy. Our Pharmacy Technicians also provide clinical services to patients.
If you are thinking of applying for this role you should be a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council and have completed an Accredited Checking Technician course and a Dispensing Technician NVQ III course. You should have recent experience of working in a community pharmacy. You should be well organised, capable of managing a skilled team and have good communication skills providing excellent patient service.
Full Time position with 5 weeks holiday per year.
