Our care home supply service recognises the importance of assisting and providing guidance for care homes and supported living services in order to provide a safe, professional and patient focused service for those residents you care for.
We do this by providing a medication dispensing service and delivery from one of our Hub pharmacy. This allows for effective relationship building with the dedicated team that deal with your care home medication supply and understand the difficulties you can face. In addition to having access to the expertise of the pharmacists and dispensers within your local pharmacy.
We also have a dedicated Care Home Pharmacist who will conduct an in-depth medication audit in line with CQC inspections and will provide external assessment to ensure your service is fulfilling all requirements. This confidential audit will assess the standards of your service and provide guidance of best practice. The Care Home Pharmacist also provides training related to medication use, procedures and guidelines. The training can be specific to the learning needs of your service and certificates of completion will be provided.
